Two of my all time "happy places" are...Mexico and the Caribbean! It is hard to be in a bad mood when you are lounging on a white sandy beach with turquoise water lapping at your toes. When I was in Vegas, I met with people from some of the more well known resorts in both Mexico and the Caribbean, but I am guessing most of you all know about many of those resorts. SO, just as I did on Wednesday with Europe, today, I am sharing a few places with which you may NOT be quite as familiar...so, cue the mariachi or reggae music and let's hit the beach!
On one of St Barths'
most beautiful beaches, the luxury boutique property Hotel St-Barth Isle de France combines the
chic sophistication of the French Riviera with the charm of the
Caribbean. With just 40 individually decorated rooms, bungalows, suites
and villas and its prime location directly on Flamands Beach, it is no
wonder this gorgeous hotel is often filled with guests
who return year after year. In October, Hotel St-Barth Isle de France
will become part of the Cheval Blanc group of ultra luxe properties,
owned by the Louis Vuitton/Moët Hennesy Group, no doubt making it even better!

Anyone who has fallen in love with Rosewood's other beachfront resorts will be thrilled to learn about the opening of Rosewood's newest property in the Bahamas - Rosewood Baha Mar. As part of a new multi-property resort development at Baha Mar which being hailed as the Bahamian Riviera, the area will include a casino, a Jack Nicklaus golf course and a stunning white sand beach. Rosewood Baha Mar will offer the legendary Rosewood service, solitude and privacy, amidst the multitude of activities offered in the surrounding properties.
