On My Radar Screen and the Giveaway Winners!!

I cannot believe it is November! This fall is going WAY to quickly for me! I hope everyone had a fun-filled Halloween.  Now it is time to start gearing up for the Holidays....yikes!!

Please keep me in mind if you need any help planning your holiday travels. I can book everything from ski lodges to luxury Caribbean getaways...even just a hotel room if you don't want to sleep on your Uncle Joe's sofa bed. And, it is definitely NOT too early to start thinking about Spring Break - those warm weather destinations book up quickly for March and April.

Are you ready for the winners of the giveaway?? Drum roll please...

Congratulations to...

Ladies, e-mail me with your address and which book you would like and I will mail it out to you right away. Thank you to every one who entered and signed up for my e-mailing list.

Here are a few items that hit up on my radar screen this week...

I can't wait for Janelle McCulloch's new book, "Provence and the Cote D'Azur" to be released on December 1st...her book on Paris is one of my favorites. And, Janelle's blog, A Library of Design is a delight as well. Do check it out!

My Beautiful Paris and My Beautiful Florence... the most charming online travel guides I have seen yet...and another wonderful blog!

Thanks to one of my favorite bloggers, Elizabeth from Pine Cones and Acorns, for bringing both of the above items to my attention! If you don't already know of her blog, it is one that you will want to read daily - between her tasty recipes, her gorgeous photos and our shared love of Paris, I never want to miss a post.

Top Ten Islands in Europe via CN Traveler...I am not at all surprised by #1! Which would you have chosen as the best?

London: Red = Tourists, Blue = Locals, Yellow = Both
Maps that show where the locals hang out versus where the tourists are, based on where their photographs are taken.

Wanderlust is taken to a new level, in this remake of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (it looks great based on the preview).

That's it for another week! Any special weekend plans? We are heading to Providence to visit our youngest...I can't wait to see him!

Have a fabulous weekend, wherever you may be wandering! xoxo
