Keep Your Wanderlust Alive While Staying At Home

Our world may be on hold for a little while longer, but there is no need to press pause on your wanderlust. I have compiled a list of a few of my favorite items to keep the dream of travel alive while sheltering in place.

Virtual Tours

Take a virtual tour of your favorite museum or be whisked away to a far off destination you never thought you would visit. Here are few of my favorite museum tours:

Picasso Museum in Barcelona

Musee d'Orsay in Paris

Vatican Museums

Metropolitan Museum in New York

And here are a few of my favorite virtual destination tours:

Virtual Expedition to the Galapagos with Lindblad

Paris from the Sky by Yann Arthus Bertrand - this is long but worth the watch!

Drone Safari in the Kalahari

Go Deeper - Context Conversations

Context Travel is offering Context Conversations, 90-minute scholar led seminars to help you take a deeper dive into your favorite museum or travel sight. For those of you with older children at home, this might be a great starting point for their next homework assignment.
